Let's back to the point! Shall we leave for Udo now? :) (YES!)
Udo is a little island near by Jejudo island. I guess a lot of you might heard of Jejudo, as it is one of the most famous and fantastic islands in Korea. Jejudo is as nice as its reputation. If you have visited Seoul several times, then it's time to visit Jejudo. The island is located in north of Korea, so its weather is more like southeast Asia's weather. I will post some places of Jeju later! However, today let's visit Udo first! Here we go~
First, go to Jejudo by flight (around 1 hour) and take ferry to Udo! Udo is very good to visit when you visit Jejudo! Just spend half or one day at Udo!

Once I arrived there, I realized that so many people take scooter as transportation. I could have just took a bus but I decided to try little tiny cute scooter in Udo too! The sccoters in Udo are run by electricity. No cars are allowed to come into Udo! Udo is strictly restricted area from air pollution. Isn't it cool? ( But somehow, I saw few cars in the island. Maybe all of them are electronic cars...? )

You can just take a big bus which go around the island. But I think trying this scooter is also great idea. Not that expensive, as it is only for my self. I think maximum 2 people can ride in at the same time. You can stop wherever you want to stop! Thanks to this scooter, I could took many photos as I want.
Simply to say, what you can do for fun in Udo is seeing around the island by riding this little fun scooter. Maybe it sounds not so special to you? However, the view of Udo is really wonderful, so I am sure that you do not want to miss it! :) Let me share more photo of Udo views.

Who is this lady? Jejudo is famous for "Haenyeo," which means female driver in Korean language. Jejudo female driver is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage. You can watch "Haenyeo show" at Seongsan Ilchulbong at Jejudo. Even for free! Find more info by googling Haenyeo~ As Udo is next to Jejudo, it must also have such a culture I think!
Few things to remind you
- To rent a scooter, I guess you need your ID if you are a foreigner.
- You need to have driver license as well to rent a sccoter. I had my driver license too.
- The best timing for rape flower is March! Spring is in general good to visit.
- Make sure to check the ferry time table, if you don't want to stay all night in Udo :)
