Do you remember Korean table d'hote in Sandulhae?
That was a really big meal, wasn't that? :)
Today we are going to eat more simpler and lighter Korean table d'hote in Gangnam area. I am sure both of those places are wonderful choices!

Korean barbecue boiled pork

Korean barbecue boiled pork also has a set menu. It was not in the list of menu...
So I couldn't see it before I place my order. I think this menu must be a nice choice too!
If you prefer to eat pork, try this!

Main: bowl of rice with beef ribs

Main: bowl of rice with soy sauce marinated shrimps

Except for main dish and type of rice, side dishes and soup were the same 

for all different set menus. I will tell you more about what I had :)

The best thing about this place is all of the shrimps are served after peeled. 

Eating shrimps is one of the things I love to do, but peeling shrimps is quite annoying... In this restaurant, you don't need to peel them. Just enjoy! 

Finished all. Very nice meal!

Few things to remind you about this place is...

• There is a table bell on each tables. You can just ring the bell for help.
• If you want, please feel free to refill side dishes for free!
• A pair of scissors is served to everyone. Use it to cut your main dish.

Birch Forest

Hello~ Jutako's back! Welcome back all :)

I have been posting only about "Best Restaurants in Seoul, Korea" so far. From this posting, I would also like to take you guys to some of beautiful places in Korea. (Most likely suburban of Seoul city!) Most of tour for foreigners are just visiting few very famous places inside of Seoul... But I really think you can see "Real Beauty" of Korea, when you visit outside of Seoul. I totally understand how difficult for you to figure out where to visit! So here I am again! Today, we are going to visit Birch Forest in Inje, Gangwon-do.

Now it's white world!

First, shall we check where Inje, Gangwon-do is?

It's right top side in the Korean Peninsula.

Around 2-2.5 hours by car!

This place is famous for "Birch Forest." Especially during the winter, upside of hill is fully covered with snow and it is such a beautiful! One picture is worth a thousand words, right? Let me show you how it looks like!

Now we are half through to reach to the Birch Forest

If you walk up around 1 hour, then you will be able to find Birch Forest in the upside of mountain. No pain, No gain! Let's walk a bit further :)

Finally we are here, Birth Forest!

The Forest is not very big, but lucky to me there was not so many people there, so I could have very relaxing time in the white world. I visited the forest December 28th, which should be peak season of travel. So I guess this place is not YET very famous to people. Even better!

Hardly can tell which part is snow or birch trees, right? :)

After taking nice winter photos and cleaning my head with fresh air and beautiful scenery, I slowly went down the hill. On the way down, I could clearly see all the neighbor mountain :)

Few things to remind you!

• Before going up to the hill, you should sign up your identity at the entrance of mountain, such as name and contact number. It's just to make sure who went through in this entrance and your safety as well.
• Make sure to bring climbing irons, an alpenstock, gloves and hat. And it's better to wear several clothes, instead of just wearing one very thick clothe. Why? So that you can take off some clothes, when you feel hot on the way up to the mountain.
